Braun G 12 (PC 3 chassis)

The record player belongs to the first group of designs in the modernist style produced by the Braun Company following its approach to the HfG Ulm. The G12 is a member of the G series, drawn up by HfG lecturer and industrial designer Hans Gugelot. This example from '56 utilises Rams, Muller and Wagenfeld's Braun PC 3 phono module, then in its first year of production. Its distinctive 3 nub platter was produced for two years, latter replaced with a 5 nub version.
